Sound & Art at St Swithun’s is an exciting project with lots of interesting volunteering opportunities.

Currently we are looking for: 

  • Event Stewards
  • Welcomers
  • Oral History Volunteers
  • Learning Volunteers
  • Craft Volunteers
  • Access Ambassadors
  • Tours Guides

We want everyone to feel welcome to join in; to help that, there are flexible and home based options, and all travel expenses are reimbursed. If you can only commit for a few months, that’s fine too.

If you don’t have time to volunteer we always welcome donations. You can donate via our box in the church, via the CCT website, or by text using the following codes.

Hiring St Swithun's

We offer competitive hire rates, including a discount if you are a charity. Our half day rate is £250.00 (*daytime 9am - 5pm or evening 4pm - 11pm) and our full day rate is £350.00 giving you the exclusive use of the church throughout the daytime and evening. *We are flexible and can work with you to provide the best time fit and price for your proposed use of the church.

Looking for a beautiful space to hold an event? St Swithun's Church is available to hire for a variety of uses, including but not limited to concerts, wedding receptions, lectures, workshops, markets, selling events and conferences. 

Our full hire price list can be found on our website and we can also provide a fully licensed bar should you need refreshments at your event. Get in touch with our team by contacting hire@worcesterstswithuns.org for further details.

We'd love to hear from any musicians, artists, performers and promoters that would like to perform at St Swithun's. We cater for all types of live music, from contemporary to traditional, classical to folk, electronica to jazz, funk to hiphop and all the gaps in-between. We are also a great space for any art related projects, theatre and dance, so drop us an email and we'll get back to you at perform@worcesterstswithuns.org

St Swithun's Church has beautiful acoustics and we are passionate about supporting local musicians. If you would like to arrange a private session to rehearse or set up a recording session to capture your sound then get in touch.
